Our Area of Work

  • Organizing Seminars / Awareness Campaigns for school children ( 11- 16 years ) addressed by eminent motivators on Swami Vivekananda’s Man making mission .
  • Conducted Quiz, Essay & Elocution competitions on awareness of vedantic values & contemporary social issues .
  • Distributing books & study materials to meritorious- yet poor children for pursuing high school and undergraduate studies
  • Arranging relief to destitute in flood affected areas.
  • Organizing sponsorship for needy students for pursuing professional studies and monitoring their progress on ongoing basis

Were started in 1988 for the poor children of the neighbourhood. Classes are held in the Christine Bhavan from 7 to 9 in the morning on four days a week.
The school has various computers including a multi-media. The students of the Secondary Section from Class V to X are given ample opportunity to learn the use of computers.
Birthdays of Sri Buddha, Sri Shankaracharya, Sri Krishna, Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda, and Sister Nivedita as well as those of Netaji and Rabindranath are observed.
The Saraswati Puja is being celebrated with the usual solemnity and enthusiasm. Christmas Eve and Ratha Yatra are celebrated ever year.
